He was predeceased by: his wife Concetta (Maugeri); his parents, Vincenzo and Paola (Longo); and his siblings, Rosario, Gino, Calogero, Attilio and Giuseppina.
He is survived by: his children, Vincent (Maria), Susan Cerza (Frank) and Elisa Gable (Tom); his grandchildren, Cristian, Dani, Gabby Cerza, Matthew and Julia Gable; and his cousin Maria Teresa Alberti.
