Carol Schmitt Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Schmitt (Webster, New York), born in Rochester, New York, who passed away on October 2, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Fox and Minnie Fox [Hale]; her stepmother Lucile Fox; her sisters-in-law, Patricia Schmitt and Kathy Burton; and her stepsiblings, Carol Contestabile, Len and Greg Schlueter.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Schmitt; her sons, Richard Schmitt (Andrea) and Randal Schmitt (Kelly); her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Ethan Schmitt, Owen and Luke Manley; her sister Jane Carter (Larry); her siblings-in-law, Peter Schmitt (Debbie) and Mary Keech (Mike); and her stepsister Cindy Mayer. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the United Church of Christ in Carol's name.
