She was predeceased by: her parents, T. Eugene Newton and Marie H. Newton; her husband Ralph Ames; her daughter Laura Acord; her granddaughter Danielle Morris Gloska; and her son-in-law Jay Kruppenbacher.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia "Trish" Fischer (Daniel), Katherine "Kathy" Morris (Steven), Christine "Chris" Whitlock (Jonathan), Judith "Judy" Ames (Laura Whitbeck) and Cynthia "Cindy" Ames; her son-in-law Matthew Acord; her grandchildren, Carolyn Whitlock, Matthew Whitlock, Sean Fischer (Ashton), Aidan Fischer and Jacob Morris; and her great grandchild Thomas Gloska.
