He is survived by: his sons, Jeff (Sandy) and Jim (Cheri); his grandchildren, Kim Collins (Dan), Jessica Hampton (Hunter) and Cory Thayer (Kamillah); his great grandchildren, River and Ryleigh Hampton; and his siblings, Keith Thayer (Nancy), Nancy Krull (Robert), Carol Dorfner and Craig Thayer (Cathy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
