With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Alfred John Willmes of Webster, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his former wife Patricia Willmes; his siblings, Anna Leicht (Richard), Alice Willmes, Buddy Cleary (Jack), Joseph Willmes (Beryl), Stella Purdy (Walter), Harry Willmes (Florence) and Eleanor Maier (Joe); his brothers-in-law, Chuck Schutt and Harlan Purdy; and his parents, Anthony Willmes and Margaret Willmes.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara "Bobbie" Willmes; his children, Alan Willmes (Eva), Andy Willmes (Brenda) and Amy Willmes; his stepchildren, Chris DiFrancesco, Lorrie Miller (Dave) and Dr. Greg DiFrancesco (Lisa); his grandchildren, Alexandra, Alan Willmes Jr., Ethan Miller, Quinn, Britton Willmes, Amanda, Austin, Michael Leckinger Jr., Mia and Jacob DiFrancesco; his sisters, Theresa Schutt and Mary Purdy; and his pet Taffy. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Willard H. Scott Funeral Home (12 South Ave, Webster, NY 14580). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's of the Lake Church (5823 Walworth Rd, Ontario, NY 14519).
