It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Lynn Gaylor of Wayne, New York, born in Bath, New York, who passed away on August 30, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Martin and Marion I. Gaylor (O'Neil); and his siblings, Robert, George Gaylor, Shirley Haight-Day, Lois Ann Belknap-Santos and Barbara J. Bailey.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra K. Gaylor; his daughters, Michelle L. Raybourne (Darren) of Hampton, VA and Jennifer L. Gaylor of Savona, NY; his grandchildren, Peyton R. Raybourne and Olyve M. Gaylor; and his sisters, Betty Ann Kinney of Hall, NY and Avis J. Litteer of Penn Yan, NY. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
After his retirement, he enjoyed being a driver for the A. R. C. of Yates County, and the Yates County Office of the Aging, ultimately retiring when Covid-19 shut things down.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Wayne Fire Dept. or Ambulance Corp.
