With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth E. Recktenwald (Wayland, New York), who passed away on January 12, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Caton and Bertha Caton (Tuttle); her husband Tony Recktenwald; and her siblings, Mickey Levee, Anna Maples, Shirley and Elmer Caton.
She is survived by: her children, Marcia Northrup (Richard) of Bath, Sheila Meyer of Batavia, Jeffrey Wheaton (Amy Hess) of Wayland, Pamela Wheaton of Dansville and Valerie Wheaton Bugman of Nunda. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
