He was predeceased by: his father Elmer R. McAtee; and his brother-in-law George E. Mitstifer. He is survived by: his mother Alberta McAtee (Durfee); his sons, Richard T. McAtee Jr. (Kimberly) of Corning, NY and Ryan McAtee (Nacole Burchard); his grandchildren, Talon Elliott, Peyton McAtee, Molly McAtee, Kailey McAtee, Lilian McAtee, Tanner McAtee and Lyla Brown; and his siblings, Deborah Mitstifer, Judd McAtee (Kristie), Susan Schnautz (Tom) and Jackie McAtee. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
