He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Platt and Ruth Platt (Strait); and his wife Diane Platt (Fronk). He is survived by: his children, Cynthia J. Washburn (Stephen), Jennifer Ebert and Michael W. Platt; his grandchildren, James R. Washburn (Shelly), Melissa K. Harter (Alex), Micheal Morphy (Ammon), Kevin Ebert, Eric Ebert and Ryan Ebert; and his great grandchildren, Evelyn R. Washburn, Dylan J. Washburn, Karen Morphy and Mathias Morphy. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins, and dear friends.
