She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald "Jerry" Ferringer and Elaine Atwell (Eger); her grandson Joseph A. Burleson Jr.; and her sister Sheri Renae Ferringer. She is survived by: her children, Alicia Bill (Brian) of Wayland, Greg Staley of Wayland, Nanci R. Staley of Maryland, Melinda Burleson (Joseph) of Savona, Kristina Port of Wayland and Liz Uhl of Wayland; her grandchildren, Kristopher, Autumn, Callista, Ceairra, Lyla, Chase and Nolan; her stepmother Mary Alexander; and her brother Jerry Ferringer (Mary "Bunnie" Snyder) of Hornell.
