It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick J. Schubmehl of Wayland, New York, who passed away on August 31, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Schubmehl and Dorenna Schubmehl (Jacobs); his wife Arlene Schubmehl; his brother Robert Schubmehl; his siblings-in-law, Marlene Schubmehl and Earl Brunswick; and his son-in-law Richard Spencer (Dick).
He is survived by: his children, Cathy Spencer of Wayland and Terry Schubmehl (Cathy) of Wayland; his grandsons, Kurt of Wayland, Corey (Sarah Gervell) of Naples, Jason Spencer of Wayland, Nicholas Spencer of Wayland and Adam Schubmehl of Springwater; his great grandchildren, Matthew Spencer (Nicole), Joseph Spencer, Olivia Spencer of Wayland and Charlie Spencer of Wayland; his great great grandchildren, Logan and Kolton; his siblings, Richard Schubmehl (Ann) of Wayland, Ronald Schubmehl of Rochester, Genie Brunswick and Cohocton; and his sister-in-law Pat Schubmehl of Waland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Facial covering, social distance and no physical contact with funeral home patrons policy will be in effect.
