It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Francis Cowles of Waverly, New York, who passed away on April 22, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Cowles and Ester Cowles; and his wife Virginia Cowles. He is survived by: his children, William A. Cowles (Jacqueline) of Athens, Patricia Ward (Richard) of Waverly and David Cowles of Waverly; his grandchildren, Dr. Stacie Cook (Jeffery) of Atlanta, Georgia, Kristofor Ward (Stephanie) of San Diego, William F. Cowles (Kristina) of Heflin and Benjamin Cowles (Stephanie) of Waverly; and his great grandchildren, Ari, Olive Cook of Atlanta, Georgia and Carter Cowles of Waverly.
