He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Richard and Carol Ann Zaorski Batzel; and his brothers, Donald, James and Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Batzel; his children, Thomas D. Batzel of Hawley, PA, Kayla Wood (George) of Barton, NY, Joseph Wood (Marissa) of Wysox, PA, Brooke Cease (Kyann) of Wysox, PA and Ariel Rovinski of Hawley, PA; his siblings, Darci Kruse (Conrad), Carina Batzel of Hawley, PA, Deborah Baker (Gary), Christopher Batzel (Sasha), David Batzel and Melissa Naeve (Derek); his grandchildren, Mya, Maverick and Mason; and his pets, Tigger, Pixie and Shaggy. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephew and cousins.
