He is survived by: his parent Florence Franks (VanHorn); his wife Marguerite; his children, Anne Franks of Auburn, NY, Robert Franks of Candor, NY, Craig Franks of Smithboro, NY, Susan Cochrane, Brian Cochrane of New Melford, CT, Jean Bishop, Travis Bishop of Barton, NY, Carl Porter, Beverly Porter of Knoxville, TN, Corrine Barrett, David Barrett of Schoharie, NY, Laurie Hartford, Carl Hartford of Canton, PA and Jason Porter of Candor, NY; his brother Bill Franks; his sister-in-law Barb Franks of Amenia, NY; and his sisters, Joyce Millage of Waverly, NY and Jean Chacona of Sayre, PA. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren.
