He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Porter and Sarah Porter (Wells); his former wife Beverly Porter; his daughter Cindy Porter; his son-in-law Thomas Campbell; and his brothers, Donald, Arthur, John and Jerry.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Porter; his granddaughter Shannon Porter; his great grandchild Grace Spaulding; his brother Harold Porter; his daughter Lena Millage (Norman); his stepchildren, Jeannean Holland (Roger) and DeAnna Shipman; his grandsons, Kyle (Sarah) and Travis (Erika); his great grandchild Rose Olivia; his grandchildren, Joshua Rowe (Ashley) and Ashley Ann Rowe; and his brothers-in-law, Jerry Thomas Doland (Annette) and Steven Wayne Doland (Mia). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and cousins.
