He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hughes and Betty Rea Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hughes of Waverly; his daughter Julie Romano of Waverly; his granddaughter Bella Romano of Waverly; and his siblings, Ann Nusbaum of Waverly and Bobby Hughes (Linda). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
