It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Meredith Lorraine Cooper (Waverly, New York), who passed away on April 27, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldon Sharp and Inez Weld Sharp; her husband Norman E. Cooper Sr; her son James Cooper; her grandchildren, Erik Waite and Kristen Cooper; and her son-in-law Wayne Redick.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Shafer (Sue), Margo Lopreste (Joseph) of Waverly, John Cooper (Kathy) of Binghamton, Craig Shafer (Kris) of Castleton, NY, Pat Redick and Elizabeth Ann Manzer (Tim) of Ithaca; and her daughter-in-law Alice Cooper. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
