With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marianne Lucia Schettino of Waverly, New York, who passed away on August 22, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Samuel Alteri of South Waverly and Mildred Alteri of South Waverly; her husband Gerald Schettino; her children, Michael Sheridan, Lisa McGuire and Giovanna Angotti (Patrick) of Orange, Virginia.; her grandchildren, Ben McGuire (Michelle), Kathryn Drabic (Matthew), Giuliana Angotti and Domenico Angotti; her great grandchildren, Adrian Drabic, Melody McGuire and Lucas McGuire; and her friends, Susan O'Toole and Nadine Emerson.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests contributions to be made in Marianne's memory to the American Cancer Society, an organization that reflects her spirit of giving and compassion.
