She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Amacher and Bertha LaBar Amacher; her husband James O'Brien, Sr.; her son James O'Brien, Jr.; and her siblings, Frank Amacher and Esther Boice.

She is survived by: her sons, John O'Brien and Jeff O'Brien of Waverly; her grandchildren, Megan O'Brien of Watertown and John Paul O'Brien; her sister Carol Button of Springville, PA; and her siblings-in-law, Pearl Amacher of Horseheads and Dennis Boice of Lemon, PA. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
