It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacqueline C. Ayres of Waverly, New York, born in Sayre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 11, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Barringer and Helen Griffith Barringer; her husband Arthur Ayres Jr.; and her siblings, Patty, Paul, Donald, Dwayne and Gary.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Steil (William), Pamela Wheeler (Roger), Jill Deskins (Reaford) and Arthur Ayres III (Cyndi); her brother Lynn Barringer (Roxanne); her brother-in-law Patrick Ayres (Adele) of Waverly; and her grandchildren, Michael Wheeler (Virginia), Nicole Steil, Andrew Dixson (Tiffany), Clint Deskins (Rylee), Madison Ayres, Mason Ayres (Brooke) and Matthew Ayres (Rachel). She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
