He was predeceased by: his father William Osborne; his father-in-law Roland Thorpe; his brother-in-law Kevin "Pokey" Thorpe; and his brothers, Michael and Paul.
He is survived by: his mother Bessie Osborne; his wife Tessie (Thorpe); his daughters, Ellen Kathan (Tim) of Horseheads, NY and Kelly Skerven (Tom) of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; his parents-in-law, Roberta Thorpe of Reynoldsville, NY, Dan, Joan Thorpe of Mecklenburg, NY, Trina, Tim Wood of Burdett, NY, Charles Thorpe, Mary Morse of Burdett, NY, Matthew Thorpe of Erin, NY and Martha Thorpe of Burdett, NY; and his grandchildren, Jenna, Zachery, Skyler Kathan and Axton Skerven. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and by many grand dogs and cats.
