He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Matwiejow and Mary Matwiejow; his sister Angie Rice of Okeechobee; and his nephews, Jimmy Matwiejow and Stevie Pulver.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Matwiejow; his sister Stella Pulver of Hammondsport, NY; his children, Michelle Johns, Anne Cleveland (Richard), Lisa Matwiejow, Richard Matwiejow (Sharon) and Anthony Matwiejow (Amy Bingham); and his grandchildren, David Matwiejow, Bradley Johns, Jennifer, Kyle Smith, R. J., Chad and Ashley Matwiejow. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
