She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Perry Personius and Lillian Personius (Goodrich); her son Bill Peters (Yolanda) of Tennessee; her sister Ruth Simpson of Watkins Glen; her friend Linette Vary (Daryl) of Watkins Glen; and her former husband Terry Messersmith of Millport. She was also cherished by five step-grandchildren.
