He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Muir and Bertha Van Vranken Muir; his wife Mary Brennan Muir (Mae); his daughters, Mary Anne Murphy (John), Barbara Spiak (late Walter), Ellen Clickner (Walter) and Kate Donnelly (Mike); his grandchildren, John (Brian Murphy), Nora, Jake (Dana Spiak) and Michael (Grace Donnelly); his great grandchildren, Trey, Rory, Liam Murphy, Cooper and Quinn Spiak; his sisters-in-law, Betty McKeon (late Ken) and Joan Prock (Sam); and his brother Douglas (Arlene).
