He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Dobson and Mary Dobson (Dunnigan); his former wife Luella Dobson; and his siblings, Jim Dobson, Mary Toucheny and Jack Dobson.
He is survived by: his wife Nora Carioto; his children, Pam Carian, Patrick Dobson (Marge), Teresa Dobson, Katherine Bortoff, Mary Moreta (Miguel), Joseph Carioto (George) and Anthony Carioto (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Charlotte, Jackie, Jonathan, Lucas, Julie, Kayla, Isabella, Giuliana, Vincent, Anthony and Joseph; and his sister-in-law Lorraine Dobson.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (181 Troy-Schenectady Rd, Watervliet, NY 12189). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
