It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tessie T. Chenes (Watervliet, New York), born in Chester, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 4, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Thanasides and Sophia Thanasides (Thomas); her husband Constantine "Con" Chenes; her siblings, Mary G. Semon (George), Ernest Thanasides (Dolores) and Anthony (Jeanne); her nephew Paul Thanasides; and her sister-in-law Evelyn Chenes.
She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, Angeline Capetanakis (Basil) of Brooklyn and Paul Chenes (Christine) of Troy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and many friends.
