It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia M. Dobrowski of Watervliet, New York, born in Albany, New York, who passed away on August 25, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Sylvia has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Bonitz and Sylvia Bonitz (Fresina). She is survived by: her sons, Peter A. and Kevin A. Knapp; her granddaughter Clare Knapp; her stepgrandsons, Jacob and Callan Smith; and her siblings, Patricia Farrell, Lorraine Nicosia (John) and Arthur Bonitz (Wendy). She is also survived by several nieces nephews and cousins.
