He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Byer, Sr. and Jennie Banaszewski Byer; and his sister Carol Byer Rosier. He is survived by: his wife Anne Klinowski Byer; his children, Stanley M. Byer, Maggie Litzenberger of Poestenkill, Karen Byer, Gregory Maxwell of Latham, Susan Byer and Russell Oster of Troy; his grandchildren, Jason Maxwell, Amy of Forest Hill, MD and Rachel Byer Oster of Fairlawn, NJ; and his great grandchildren, Tyler and Colin Maxwell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
