He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Carlson and Marie Foley Carlson. He is survived by: his wife Carol Mardigan Carlson; his children, Rob Carlson (Patricia Donahue) of Watervliet, Jennifer Kimber of Chittenango, NY, Craig Carlson (Susan) of Watervliet, Courtney Rees (John) of Sarasota, FL and Nicole Swinton (Stephen) of Niskayuna; his grandchildren, Samantha, Joshua, Joel Kimber, Kit, Daniel, Maxwell, Nora Jane Rees, Jack and Will Swinton; his brother William Carlson (Marsha) of Watervliet; and his siblings-in-law, George Mardigan (Beverly) and Deborah Jehnsen (David). He is also survived by several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
In lieu of flowers and because of Bob's devotion to his Community, his Family has requested that contributions be made to the Watervliet Civic Center, 102 14th Street, Watervliet, NY 12189; the Watervliet Senior Citizen Center, 1501 Broadway, Watervliet, NY 12189; or the Watervliet Historical Society, PO Box 246, Watervliet, NY 12189.
