He was predeceased by: his parents, Clemis Rushia and Catherine Rushia; his daughter Wendy Lynn Rushia; his sister Sharon Rushia; and his granddaughter Riley Rushia.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Rushia (Coons); his children, Mark Rushia (Claudia), Daniel Rushia (Megan), Jodi Rushia and Michele Fish (Joseph); his grandchildren, Gabrielle Rushia, Nathan Rushia and Nicholas Fish; and his siblings, David and Jennifer Rushia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
