He was predeceased by: his wife Norine E. Kelly Deguire; his son Daniel Deguire; and his brother Alfred Deguire, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, P. J. Deguire (Kathy) of Watervliet, Michael Deguire of Watervliet, Thomas Deguire (Jeanne) of Loudonville, Trish Lapishka (John) of Niskayuna and Kevin Deguire (Michele) of Rotterdam; his grandchildren, Cassie, P. J. (Erica), Mikayla Deguire, Tiffany, Sarah Deguire, Meghan, Caroline Deguire, John Lapishka, Jr., Ryan, Hailey and Jake Deguire; his great grandchildren, Donovan, Dominic, Lucas and Kaylee; his siblings, Fran O'Neill (Phil) of Bennington, VT and Marie Deguire of Sacramento, CA; his close friend Ann Vogt; and his niece Susan Moore. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
