She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Peter Waricka and Mary Gingeresky Waricka; her husband Edward J. Ruping, Jr.; her children, Ann M. Barna (John), Daytona, Shirley J. Isabelle (Douglas) of Tallahassee, Edward J. Ruping (Kathleen) of Succasunna, NJ and Patricia A. Keller (Scott) of Basking Ridge, NJ; her sibling Bettianne Smulsky of Watervliet, NY; and her sister-in-law Mary Kuentzel of Watervliet, NY.. She was also cherished by 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and two nieces.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 2410 4th Avenue, Watervliet, NY 12189.
