She was predeceased by: her parents, James Surprenant and Marilyn Surprenant (Powers); and her sister Lori Ryan. She is survived by: her significant other Michael "Mike" Essenter; her children, Timothy R. Shevy (Angela) of Schodack and Christine Murray (Jayson Ward) of Stillwater; her grandchildren, Joseph, Lucas Shevy, Addison and Hazel Ward; and her brothers, Edward Surprenant (Yong) of Palm Coast, FL and William Surprenant of Lansingburgh. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
