She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl F. Stewart, and Ella Mae McDowell Stewart, Sr.; her husband William E. Verstandig; and her sisters, Linda and Patricia Stewart.
She is survived by: her son Richard L. Baker; her grandchildren, Richard L. Baker, III and Julie Ann Baker; her siblings, Cathy Lee Jewett, Earl F. Stewart, Jr. (Claudia) and Daniel E. Stewart; her stepsister Kimberly Chaplough; and also Tricia Teeter. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Loudonville Presbyterian Church, 22 Old Niskayuna Road, Loudonville, NY 12211 in memory of Leona S. Verstandig.
