It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Zawistowski of Watervliet, New York, who passed away on October 19, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Franciszek Zawistowski and Antonina Zawistowski (Starzec). He is survived by: his wife Sandra Roe; his children, Joseph Zawistowski, Paul Zawistowski (Karen) and Thomas Zawistowski (Brenda); his grandchildren, Matthew, Abbigail, Rebecca, Cassandra and Owen Zawistowski; his siblings, Steve Zavis (Nancy), Ray Zawistowski (Lorraine), Edward Zavis (Mary), John Zawistowski (Mary), Mary Celardo (Edward), Frank Zawistowski (Helen) and Viola Anderson (Harold); and his godchildren, Mary Andrade, George Roe, Jr., Robert Zawistowski and Stacey Meir. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
