It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph MacKey of Watervliet, New York, born in Troy, New York, who passed away on January 12, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Maryanne Mackey (White); his parents, Patrick J Mackey and Kathryn Mackey (Burns); and his siblings, Nancy Mackey Louden (Thomas Louden) and F. Eugene Mackey (Donna Mackey).
He is survived by: his daughter Sue Mackey of Albany; his siblings, Margaret Suriano (James) of Sidney, NY and Thomas Mackey (Joann) of Halfmoon; and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Ann Fish (William) of Watervliet. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins.
Due to COVID-19, at the request of the family there will be no viewing and the funeral services will be private.
