He is survived by: his brother Robert Thorpe of Troy, NY; and his children, John T. Thorpe III (Karen) of Clifton Park, NY, Mary Landry (Pete) of Florida and Robert F. Thorpe (Theresa) of Ballston Lake, NY. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
