He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Rosekrans and Mary Rosekrans (Barachak); his wife Bonita "Bonnie" Rosekrans; and his granddaughter Elizabeth. He is survived by: his sons, John A. Rosekrans (Susan) and William Rosekrans (Sarah); his grandchildren, Morgan, Nicholas, Hannah, John and Emma; and his great grandchild Ashlyn.
