He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Hogan and Marion Hogan; his wife Kay Sue Hogan; and his siblings, Patrick, Bernard and Margaret.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Lashway (Jeff) of Guilderland and John Hogan Jr. (Sindee) of Cape Coral, Florida.; his grandchildren, Ian and Ellie Lashway of Guilderland; and his sister Mary Lou Cooper of Rotterdam. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
