It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Halse of Watervliet, New York, born in Troy, New York, who passed away on January 22, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Abbott and Ethel Abbott (Link); her husband Henry Halse; her stepchildren, William J. Halse, Sr. and Barbara S. Larson (Barry); and her brother Charles Abbott.
She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth J. Halse and Steven Halse; her grandchildren, Lauren Halse, Haley Halse, Michaela Halse, Caitlin Halse, Jillian Halse, Christina Goldman, William Halse, Jr., Joella Thomson and Frank Mastan; and her sibling Thomas Abbott (Diane).
