She was predeceased by: her foster parents, Edward O'Connor and Georgia O'Connor; her husband Joseph Korkemaz, Sr.; her father Charles Paul; and her sister Sandra Paul.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Shufelt (Clayton) of Watervliet, Joseph Korkemaz, Jr. (Tracey) of Watervliet and Michele Christie (Gerald) of Halfmoon; her grandchildren, Theresa Reed (Jason), Victoria Shufelt, Joseph Korkemaz, III (Heather), Jessica Korkemaz, Julia Christie, Chris Heacox and Caitlyn Heacox; her great grandchild Braxton Reed; and her sisters, Carol Davis (Ray), Joyce Millington (late Richard), Dory Roman and Pat Fitzgerald. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
