He was predeceased by: his parents, H. Francis Jones and Mary Jones (Burtt); and his sister Marian Scrimgeour (Murray). He is survived by: his wife Amber Butterfield; his children, Gillian McNamee (Brian), Mark Jones (Marget), Spencer Jones (Stacy) and Keith Jones (Karisa); and also, England, Ann Bell (Charles), Jane Gibson (Ian), John, Graham Scrimgeour (Sally) and David Scrimgeour (Anna).
