He was predeceased by: his parents, George Demarest and Edna Demarest (Kehn); his brother John Demarest (Biz); his wife Leona Demarest (Nelson); and his sons, George Michael Demarest (Mort) and Robert (Bobby).
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Sara Seeloff (Cory) and Kera Demarest; his great grandchildren, Karleigh and Logan Seeloff; his sister-in-law Martha Demarest (John); and his nieces and nephews, Fran Guilbault (Ron), Mark Demarest (Patti), Theresa Demarest and Lisa Demarest.
