He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph F. Bielawa and Helen Bielawa (Durrick); his wife Catherine Mokay of Basil's Russian Orthodox Church; his son Stephen Bielawa of Maplewood; and his siblings, Anthony Bielawa Frances Meyer (Anne), Helen Burnett and Walter.
He is survived by: his children, Frank Bielawa of Helendale, Calif and Katherine Bielawa Jurczyk (Edward Jurczyk) of Milford, Conn.; his grandchildren, James Bielawa, Breanne McLaughlin, Kirstyn Bielawa, Brian (Michelle), Kyle and Matthew Jurczyk (Alexandra); his great grandchildren, Luke, Hailey Jurczyk and Charlie McLaughlin; and his siblings, Stanley (late Betty), Joseph (Caroline), Theodore (Eileen), Edward (late Lavernne), Harold Bielawa (Karen) and Mary Ann Zelinski.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Parker Bros. Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. (2013 Broadway, Watervliet, NY 12189). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
