She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred S. Kilmer and Eleanor L. Goyer Kilmer; and her spouse Thomas R. Burns, Sr.. She is survived by: her child Thomas R. Burns, Jr. of Cohoes; her brother Arthur F. Kilmer (Heather) of Troy; her nieces and nephews, Jessica Trowbridge (Stephen), Benjamin A. Kilmer (Allison), Ricky Cotrona and Kerrianne English; her close friend Jeri Hess; and her pets, Mickey and Toby.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, NY 12204.

The VHS tapes were recorded from the TV station PBS. I am a fairly new beginner at making quilts and I am enjoying the quilt/history lesson from Eleanor Burns. God Bless Eleanor Burns for her love, respect and enthusiastic quest for Quilting History. Praise God for Eleanor .Burns”
