He was predeceased by: his father Leon Bertie Upton; his siblings, Peter, Joseph, George, Herbert, Irvin Chamberlain, Muriel Smith, Marie Petit, Leola Rupp and Elnora Upton; his wife Jean M. Upton; his mother Etta Chamberlain Deacon; his stepfather Herbert Chamberlain; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Livolsi, Robert Sherman, Mark Sherman, Donald Sherman, William Sherman, John Sherman, Joe Sherman, Diane Gordan, June Luce and Jeanette Garner.
He is survived by: his stepson Paul Brennan (Debbie Brennan); his grandsons, Jay Edward and Jessie Brennan; his siblings-in-law, Joanne T. Sherman, Martha Livolsi (late Robert Livolsi) and Alfred Garner (late Jeanette Garner); his cousin Russ Chamberlain; his goddaughter Tara Mabee (Christopher Finch); and his pet Finn. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Parker Bros. Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. (2013 Broadway, Watervliet, NY 12189). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Parker Bros. Memorial (2013 Broadway, Watervliet, NY 12189). A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the Elmwood Hill Cemetery (51 Belle Ave, Troy, NY 12180).
