It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Francis Carey of Watervliet, New York, born in Albany, New York, who passed away on February 8, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Francis Carey, Sr. and Elizabeth Claire Carey (Harrigan); his wife Doris; his brother Peter Carey of Indianapolis, IN; his children, Edward Carey (Jennifer) of Brooklyn, Robert Carey Van Pelt of Iowa, Mary Rose Bagley (Jeffrey) of Wayne, PA, Kathleen Carey of Troy, NY, Liam Carey (Michelle) of San Francisco and Michael Carey (Cassie) of East Lansing, MI; his grandchildren, Luke, David Carey, Kendra Van Pelt, Claire, Peter, Anna Bagley, Meghan Carey, Liam and Scarlett Carey; and his cousins, Julie, Arthur and Joe Harrigan. He was also cherished by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
