It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Schoonmaker of Watervliet, New York, born in Troy, New York, who passed away on June 16, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas F. Schoonmaker and Jean Crapo Schoonmaker. He is survived by: his wife Deborah A. Matthews Schoonmaker; his children, Janeen Schoonmaker (Tony) of Cohoes, Douglas G. Schoonmaker, Jr. of Clifton Park, Matthew Schoonmaker of Watervliet and Amy Wettig (Scott) of Watervliet; his grandchildren, Christian, Emma Grimmick, Riley, Jack, Madeline Schoonmaker and Joseph Margiotta; and his siblings, Robert Schoonmaker (Mary) of Watervliet, Debra Schoonmaker of Schenectady and Craig Schoonmaker (Lynda) of Scotia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
