It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald C. Emory Sr. (Watervliet, New York), born in Albany, New York, who passed away on August 26, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Emory Sr. and Anna Hotaling; and his brothers, Walter Emory, Kenneth Emory and Richard Emory.
He is survived by: his siblings, Robert Emory, Theresa Brewer (Larry), Lee Fink (Fred) and Barbara Coons; his sons, Donald Jr, Robert E. (Heather) and Louis J. (Raeanne); his grandchildren, Donald III, Aaron Emory and Colin Emory; his friend Eugenia Emory (Gina); and his significant other Nora Forget. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks donations can be made in Don's name to Rensselaer County Community Hospice, 295 Valley View Blvd., Rensselaer NY 12144.
