Despina Cholakis Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Despina Cholakis (Watervliet, New York), who passed away on December 26, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Constantine George Cholakis; her siblings, Mary Koutsakis (late Constantine) and John Michaelides (late Anne Bailey); and her siblings-in-law, Thomas G. Cholakis (Katherine Buas Cholakis) and Helen Pappas Cholakis (Cholakis).
She is survived by: her children, Catherine Cholakis (Richard Kemner) of Brunswick and Gregory Dean Cholakis of Troy; her daughters-in-law, Linda Cooper of Miami, FL and Joanne Monagan of Troy; and her grandchildren, Anastasia Grace Cholakis, Olivia and Caileigh Dean. She is also survived by numerous loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
